Water damage in Nome rarely waits for a convenient hour, and neither does our dispatch line. Hirex Water Damage keeps Water Removal crews and equipment staged inside Nome so a technician can be at your door quickly.
We built Hirex Water Damage's Nome operation after hearing the same complaint over and over: the "24/7" number that never actually answers when it matters. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Each senior tech on our Nome roster is IICRC-certified and has handled everything from a clean supply-line break to a full Category 3 sewage loss, which is why Water Removal in Nome is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. Full insurance and Nome, ND licensing back every job we take in Nome.
Local equipment staging is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-morning one for Nome calls.
Anyone in Nome who's had a mid-night plumbing failure knows that every extra minute of standing water means more material soaked through. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
We also invest in ongoing technician training, since restoration methods and equipment keep evolving and a Nome crew running outdated techniques does the property a disservice.
Not every water problem looks dramatic — some of the costliest Nome repairs began as a barely-noticeable issue. Here's what tells our team a Nome property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
Recognizing one of these early is the difference between a contained repair and a gutted room, so reach out to our Nome team before it spreads.
We don't run a one-size response in Nome — a contained bathroom leak gets a different crew than a flooded restaurant kitchen. Every service below reflects a specific piece of equipment or protocol, not just a marketing category.
Our Nome units carry truck-mount extraction pumps that pull standing water out fast, cutting exposure time from days to hours. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We calculate drying needs using humidity and temperature data rather than guessing at equipment placement, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
On the residential side in Nome, we handle the flood cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so the home is ready for rebuild, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
For commercial Nome accounts, we assign a lead, run crews outside normal hours to limit downtime, and size equipment to the actual footprint — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Nome get handled under strict Category 3 protocol from containment through documented disposal.
Every Nome drying job includes preventive antimicrobial application aimed at heading off mold before it starts.

We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and won't sign off on a Nome job until readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put the guarantee directly on the work order for every Nome job, in writing. A repeat visit under this guarantee means picking up exactly where the last one left off, not starting from scratch.
Trust matters, but in restoration work, documented moisture readings matter more, and that's what our Nome guarantee is built on.
